Gage wasn't one thing. He was the friend who'd drop everything at 2 a.m. He was the one with the worst idea and the best execution. The one who made a room louder the second he walked in — and somehow better for it.
He lived with Type 1 diabetes like it was a minor inconvenience to a much bigger plan. He worked hard, played harder, and never met a stranger he couldn't turn into a friend within ten minutes.

Why This Exists
HI, I'M KYLIE.
Gage was my boyfriend, my best friend, and an enormous part of my life for three years.
We built a life together in all the ordinary ways that don't seem important until suddenly they are. Adventures and plans. Inside jokes and arguments. Boring Tuesdays. Ridiculous moments. Pictures nobody else would understand. Thousands of little memories that made up our life together.
When Gage died, I realized how easily those little pieces of someone can disappear.
AND I DON'T WANT THE PIECES OF GAGE TO DISAPPEAR.

THERE ARE STORIES I DON'T KNOW YET.
Gage's friends have stories I don't know. His coworkers knew versions of him I never got to see. Somewhere there are photographs I've never seen, inside jokes I've never heard, and moments that meant something to someone who knew him.
That's why Celebrating Gage exists.

This isn't an official estate website, and it isn't meant to replace anyone else's way of remembering him. It's simply a place created by people who loved him, where the people who knew him can help preserve the pieces of his life that deserve to stay.

Gage's life crossed paths with a lot of people. Friends. Coworkers. Family. People from different chapters, different places and different parts of his life.
Gage lived with Type 1 diabetes every day, and never let it slow him down. The most direct way to honor him is to support the organizations working on a cure and supporting the T1D community.
